Overall, the school has made encouraging progress across all headline performance measures compared with the previous year, reflecting the hard work and commitment of our students and staff. A particularly significant milestone is that the school achieved an average Attainment 8 grade above 4. This represents an important step forward in our continued journey of improvement. English has built successfully on the significant progress achieved last year, with further improvements across key measures and the potential to exceed the national average pass rate. Mathematics is also showing renewed momentum, with performance moving in a positive direction following a period of slower progress. We are particularly proud of the achievements in Art, Drama, Food, French, Photography, Science and PE, where students have made notable progress in relation to national benchmarks. Another encouraging development is that boys outperformed girls for the first time in recent history, demonstrating a positive shift in performance patterns. We remain committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. In particular, we will continue to focus on narrowing performance gaps for disadvantaged students, students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and students who join the school during their studies.
